About Anticancer.ca
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for one out of every six deaths. Cancer incidence and mortality rates continue to rise. However, 30-50% of all cancers are considered preventable, with diet being a major underutilized factor. Our mission at Anticancer.ca is to reduce the occurrence of cancer and cancer-related issues by providing up-to-date, evidence-based information on anticancer nutrition and supplementation. We want to empower people to take control of their health, have informed discussions, complement their medical treatment, and make evidence-based choices about their diet. Although billions of dollars are spent on cancer research and education every year, for most of us, translating medical research into informed everyday health practices can be difficult. That’s where Anticancer.ca comes in. We are committed to providing you with easy-to-understand, up-to-date, evidence-based information related to cancer, from prevention to treatment and beyond. We launched Anticancer.ca in June 2023, and we are constantly adding new content and resources. Our goal is to make it the go-to source for evidence-based cancer-related nutrition.
